Fall is here!

Well it's been a while since my last post. I basically took the summer off to spend more time with my family. Now school has started (Yes!), and the house is quiet once again, at least for a few hours. Time to get back into the swing of things and start cookin' some soap!
Before I start on my next batch of Apple Harvest soap, I'll share my new fall fashion tips!
1. Purple is the new "it" color. It's both trendy and bold. A silk or cotton blouse in this color would be a nice addition to your wardrobe. If you don't absolutely love the color purple, earrings or a cute shade of violet nail polish would do just fine.
2. Grey is actually fall's new fashion color. Pull out those grey slacks, or update your closet with a grey sweater or shoulder wrap to keep you warm in the cool months to come. Grey, Smoke and Silver eye shadows will also add dept to your look. Paint your nails and toes a shade of silver to match.
3. Check out You Go Girl's line of fall soaps. Spicy Orange Marmalade, Apple Harvest, Honey Cornbread, and every one's favorite, Creme Brulee are sure to please. Get yours today!

I'm an Etsy newbie!

Guess what guys? I've got an Etsy.com shop! For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, Etsy is a wonderful community of sellers, similar to EBay, that sell only handmade items. You can find anything crafty there like jewelry, candles, and even furniture. You don't have to bid either, just click and purchase.
I am still very new to this and have been learning a lot about the world of Etsy. I still only have a couple of soaps listed, but I in the works of taking really good pictures for my shop. Once I get them posted, I'll have a have a lot more to offer.
Please stop by my shop and tell me what you think. I welcome all feedback. If your already an Etsy buyer or seller, heart me, I'll appreciate it!

Spring is here!

Thank goodness its Spring. This is my most favorite season of all. I just love the birds singing, the smell of flowers blooming, and the warm sun getting stronger everyday. Don't you?
It's also a time to take care of the things we let go over the Winter. Here are a few tips to get you started!

1. It's time to clean those closets! If you haven't worn it in 6 months- out it goes! Donate it to a Thrift store or clothes closet. They'll be glad you did, and so will you!

2. Get outside and breathe the fresh air by taking a walk. It doesn't matter how far, just get those legs moving. Take in the sights and sound of Spring. Walking ca be very therapeutic after a long hard day of work.

3. Get rid of those Winter scents of Cinnamon and Apple. Try Spring scents like Lilac and Lavender. They're a refreshing pick me up.

You Go Girl! Soaps has just what you need for Spring. Our new Scents include Lilac and French Vanilla Pear. Lily of the Valley, Plumeria, Lavender, and Magnolia are also great choices! Stop by yougogirlsoaps.com to place your order!

Why Glycerin Soap

Here's why you should use You Go Girl's Glycerin soap instead of commercial soaps. Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it attracts moisture to your skin. Glycerin is a natural by-product of the soap-making process and while commercial manufacturers remove the glycerin for use in their more profitable lotions and creams. Glycerin is clear, and a lot more moisturizing. People who have dry skin, or even eczema can benefit from using Glycerin soaps.
